YMCA Mill Hollow
Kamas, Utah
We’re getting married at YMCA Mill Hollow, a secluded and gorgeous mountain hideaway nestled in the Uinta Mountains near Kamas, UT. Tall pines, open sky, limited cell service but tons of friends and memories. We’d love nothing more than a fun weekend with the people we love, so if you are able to, please consider camping with us as well!
We have camp games, a live band, food, snacks and wine, and firepits to use at your leisure. Up the road is an awesome lake we’ll definitely have time to explore. We’re bringing two kayaks, so feel free to bring your favorite slacklining gear, lawn games, a costume, or honestly anything that makes this feel authentically campy (interpret that however you want).
Heads up: the roads are unpaved and it's a bit of a drive, so give yourself some extra time.
We have cabins on site and plenty of awesome tent space, so come ready to stay the night if you can. Pack layers, sturdy shoes, and anything you’d want for a mountain getaway. Can’t wait to celebrate with you out there.

We’re marrying beneath the pines and open sky. Evenings cool off quickly at this elevation; extra layers and shoes you’re happy walking in will keep you comfortable.
Please RSVP by July 1, 2026.
If you want to show up in the right vibe, think dressy casual garden party. We're encouraging jewel tones, but black and white are totally fine too. Just a heads-up: the venue is in the woods with rocky terrain, so wear heels at your own risk!
If you have questions about attire reach out to one of us and we can help!
It's about a one-hour drive from Salt Lake City, plus a few miles down a dirt road. Cell reception can be spotty once you're close, but emergency calling still works. There's limited Wi-Fi available, and we'll also have walkie-talkies to help everyone stay connected.
Yes! Dinner is provided Friday night (for early guests who want to help with setup) and Saturday night in the main lodge. RSVP because spots will fill up fast.
Overnight guests should bring lunches, snacks, and any breakfast items they want. We'll have firepits, limited fridge space, and plenty of room for shared food setups.
We will have a selection of white and red wines. Feel free to bring your own beer/seltzer/wine for camping.
Liquor is not permitted at this location.
Due to fire risk and insurance policies, smoking is not allowed on the property.
E-cigs and vapes must be kept with you at all times—please don't set them down or lose them. This site also operates as a summer camp for kids from May through August, so we want to keep the area safe and clean.
Not at all! Overnight camping is optional. You're welcome to stay for the celebration and head home afterward, or stay at a nearby hotel/cabin if that's more your style. We have limited cabins on site - express interest in rsvp
We'll leave the venue by noon on Sunday. Anyone who wants to hang out a bit longer is welcome to join us for a relaxed morning by the pond before heading out.
If you want to stay nearby Sunday night, check out Mill Hollow Campground up the road. Campsites can be reserved on Recreation.gov.
Even though it's September, Mill Hollow's elevation makes evenings feel more like mid-October. Pack warm layers—you'll want them once the sun goes down.
Water activities are welcome and encouraged, but the lake is cold in the evenings. Midday and early afternoon are the best times to kayak or swim.
We'll be providing dinner on Friday night and again on Saturday. Overnight guests should bring their own lunches, snacks, and breakfast items. Limited fridge space will be available.
We have several firepits available for both cooking and hanging out. If you'd like, feel free to bring a bundle of firewood to contribute.
See packing list for more details.
Most likely in the evenings. Daytime is comfortable, but nights at this elevation drop fast. Expect crisp, chilly air after sunset—hoodies, jackets, and layers are recommended.
It's around 70°F-85°F on average during daylight hours. A bit cooler early morning and evening. Averages around 50°F - 60°F.
Please reach out to either of us by July 1 so we can coordinate any added costs. We want to be mindful of all guests, and together we can accommodate meals and seating.
If you can't join, your words mean the world to us. Leave a note here: Send love to the couple.
